Tom Bruton
Tom is a graduate of Trinity College of Music, where he studied with Gerard McChrystal. Tom was the recipient of the Trinity College of Music silver medal for wind brass and percussion.
Following his graduation he was active on the Midlands music scene, playing in various function bands and theatre productions, playing at venues such as the Birmingham Hippodrome and the RSC Stratford. For a time he was principal alto 1 in the National Saxophone Choir of Great Britain.
Since 2000 he has worked as copyist for Saxtet Publications.
Tom is now living in France, running courses for adult learners of saxophone and clarinet from Le Rhun, a 40 acre gite complex in Finistere, Brittany. You can find out more about the courses at: www.lerhun.com
