Spiritualise

Description

For as long as jazz has existed there has been a cross-fertilisation with classical music. Combining existing compositions with a newly composed work this CD further blurs stylistic distinctions. The new compositions and title track "Spiritualise" is for baritone sax and piano, created by one of the best of the new generation of jazz composers in the UK, Hans Koller. The aim was to present listeners with a fresh take on crossover pieces.
